A Washington witness at Everett reported watching and videotaping three lights of unknown origin forming a triangle, according to testimony in Case 82230 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was walking through farm fields “to dike accessing tideflats for duck hunting” at 7:20 a.m. on January 16, 2017.
“I observed three white blinking lights in triangle formation to the south, presumed them to be aircraft, but not 100 percent sure,” the witness stated. “Expected them to break formation. Seems to stay in formation longer than commercial aircraft would. Then took picture and short video. Then stopped observing.”

“The lights seemed to be attached to nothing,” Ward stated in his report. “They never moved or made any noise. He watched them for 10 minutes or so, then took pictures and video and continued his walk out to go hunting. Later on that morning, he looked up and they were gone, probably 30 minutes to an hour later. He said they definitely were in a triangle formation. Nothing found in area by using Google Earth, like light poles or cell phone towers to explain these lights.”
Two video clips were included with the report, which was filed on February 20, 2017. Everett is the county seat of and the largest city in Snohomish County, Washington, population 103,019.
