A Florida witness at West Palm Beach reported watching and videotaping a hovering orb, according to testimony in Case 81821 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was playing golf at the Okeeheelee Golf Course about 2:30 p.m. on January 28, 2017.
“While playing golf I saw a floating chrome sphere moving very slowly and started filming,” the witness stated. “I only filmed for a short time as we were moving on, since there were people waiting behind us.”
The witness described the object.
“The object made no sound. It almost looked like a giant balloon, bigger than a car. After watching it on video, I noticed that at the sixth second there was another orb passing through it from right to left at an incredible speed. I'm a student pilot and I'm fairly familiar with aircraft and I'm quite certain that these objects were no helicopters or planes.”

“The witness is a student pilot and familiar with aircraft – and quite certain that these objects were no helicopters or planes,” Horne stated in his report. “The golf course is very close to the Palm Beach Airport. While the object is very small on the video, there are stills provided by the witness that showed the smaller object that passed through. With the tools at hand, the Field Investigator was unable to get a good zoom of the object in the video. The stills from the witness suggest there may be more visual data that can be recovered through video enhancement. The only weather balloon experiment that surfaced in Internet search was a student project in Ft. Lauderdale on February 9.”
West Palm Beach is a city in and the county seat of Palm Beach County, Florida, population 100,343.
