The witness was in a shed on her property using Wi-Fi to avoid the kids and dogs at 11:40 p.m. on June 22, 2018.
“I noticed it an hour after I was in there,” the witness stated. “Heard it shuffling in the tall grass and thought it was a deer until my cat started growling and stared at the shed door. When I scanned the tree line and bushes with my big LED light, I thought I saw a head pop back into the dark, so I pretended I didn’t see it and spotted my light to the left and heard it quickly get closer. So, I flashed the light back fast and it was very close now – 30 feet in front of me. We stared at each other for what seemed like forever, but I know it was probably only 20 seconds. I started to think cause I was so scared I couldn’t move. Also, it didn’t move as I watched it. I didn’t see it breath, so I also held my breath. I noticed its limbs and features while we stared at each other, greenish gray and very big mantis eyes. The skin was smooth, broad shoulder, but as you followed down got skinny, eyebrow ridge stuck out, wide head with an upward slant on the head. Its eyes reflected green, light green, flecks of yellow and orange from my light, over 6 feet tall. A thought came in my head that it was going to grab me, so I said nothing out here. As loud as I could I slammed the shed door and turned and ran to my house with the LED behind my back facing it. It seemed to not move when light hit it, so I thought this would give me a head start cause it moved fast the first time. When I got in to my husband and told him a whole hour pasted by. It was now 12:40 a.m. I know I didn’t look at this thing for an hour. My husband came out with me with his gun but it was gone. Now I’m scared. I will not be out at night anymore, when I’m a night lover, bonfires mostly and stars, even in the day sometimes. I always feel like I’m being watched now. I have started to look into UFOs and abductions. I have never read up on this before my experience and now believe I was abducted but have no memory of it.”
New York MUFON State Section Director John Lombardo closed this case as an Unknown-Other.
