Witness illustration. Credit: MUFON A Florida witness at Deland reported watching a diamond-shaped object defined in a “pattern of black dots,” according to testimony in Case 93256 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was about to leave his development for work at 7:35 a.m. on July 10, 2018.
“I noticed what seemed like a flock of birds in a strange pattern,” the witness stated. “I slowed the car to a stop and studied the object for several seconds. I could then determine that the object was staying still and was translucent with black dots forming a triangle/diamond pattern. It almost looked like a blue kite with black dots forming a perfect pattern similar to bowling pins. The larger part of the object was at least 30 of these dots on the front triangle and 10 dots on the back triangle. It seemed to be at least one to two miles away with very clear blues skies. I continued to stare until a driver behind me beeped and started to leave. I then could not find the object once I drove away.”
