Case 110133; Witness #1, July 13, 2020: Apparently two (or more) witnesses on a camping trip in northeast Tennessee observed a near-circular object for one hour at 3 p.m. in full daylight and with a partially-cloudy sky. “We were camping in Unicoi County [Tennessee] and saw a round light in the sky. It seemed to be hovering in place as clouds moved below the object. [I] took pictures with [my cell] phone and then with [my] 300mm digital camera. When zooming in there appears to be a chevron in the middle of a circle with a glowing edge.” The craft was characterized as a “circle” (as viewed by Witness #1). Her/his photo is shown left. Case 110135; Witness #2, July 14, 2020: On the next day, also in northeast Tennessee, witness #2 claims to have photographed a craft, characterized by the witness as a “Tic Tac”. READ MORE |

At first I would say balloon. Like a weather balloon. But the tic tac sighting along with it is odd. Some strange activity.

This was exactly what I saw the evening of Aug 12, 2020 over my house in Wildwood, MO outside of St Louis. There were two spheres, motionless from what I could tell, maybe 10 degrees apart as you viewed them in the evening sky. Weird indeed.

Question solved - these weren't UFO's - they were balloons sent up by Google to improve internet access. The balloons are called loons. Story is on STL television ... https://fox2now.com/news/missouri/loons-spotted-in-st-louis-area-skies-wednesday-night/

I saw the same thing but closer. Hard to believe those were Loons because they never moved across the sky. KC and Ozarks had similar sightings though. They seemed close and I could see rotation in the one. Maybe they were moving away from us...very slowly.

Nice detective work Joe. I remember a bunch of us kids bought a balloon from a science equipment supplier that looked similar. We were going to scare everyone with it. It looked cool....but was extremely thin and fragile....and was a victim of the wind. However some of these sightings don't behave like a balloon..Mylar or otherwise. Some go against the wind...or fly off intelligently controlled under their own power...or even appear to be solid metal or glow with a plasma like glow. These are the real deal.
