Case 110700: It was 4:45 PM on August 3. John McNeill, the primary witness (Witness A) and three other witnesses were in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, when Witness D’s three-year old grandson, Eli, said, “Is that Venus?” Looking up, the four observers could see something at about 60° above the horizon at an estimated 1500 feet altitude and which seemed to be flashing randomly. The apparently solid object hovered, but made no sound and left no emissions. The primary witness, John, used his 50 X 100 binoculars as it continued to hover for about 15 minutes. After that point, the object “drifted” northwest from the Grouse Mountain area toward the town of Squamish, about 25 miles north of Vancouver. John described the object as being a highly-reflective, silver “cylinder” with an antenna-like mast protruding from the bottom. The upper half of the cylindrical body of the object was smooth and literally cylindrical. The lower half was hexagonal. Each of the square panels of the hexagonal sections was bright white, either due to the reflection of the Sun or external lighting. On August 3, the object appeared again at approximately 5: 15 PM. After the sighting, John skillfully drew an isometric representation of the object. See below. The primary witness stated that he took two photographs of the object, but it was only visible using photo-editing filters. READ MORE |
