Science Review Board
A foundation of science in UFO investigations
In support of MUFON's mission for the scientific study of UFOs, the Executive Director along with the Board of Directors has approved the formation of a Science Review Board (SRB) that reports directly to the Executive Director. This is an exciting time for MUFON as we take action to advance our scientific knowledge into the study of UFOs.
The SRB consists of nine scientists whose backgrounds are distributed across these branches:

Three of the members currently work, or have worked, for NASA and Lawrence Livermore Labs.
The SRB has three primary responsibilities. The first is to improve MUFON's scientific status with the media, the scientific establishment, and the public. The second is to function as advisers to the Executive Director, the Director of Investigations, and to the STAR Team. The third role of the SRB is to review and drive major science projects within MUFON as well as to review any scientific papers that are published under the MUFON name.
An important aspect of the Science Review Board has been the inclusion of international members, but the SRB is more than just nine members. The pursuit of science is for all of us. There are opportunities for more individuals to join the SRB through sub-teams that are being formed to address specific research projects currently under consideration. These projects will require a considerable amount of creativity and work on the part of team members. If you are interested in supporting the SRB on a project, please forward your resume to Robert Powell using the SRB Support Form below.
