It is with great sadness that I must report the passing of our long time State Director for Tennessee MUFON,  Mr. Eddie Middleton.

He was a Tennessee icon for UFO investigations for our state for many years.  I wish I could share with everyone all of our countless hours of discussion about all of his research and adventures out in the field.

Eddie was a mentor, co-investigator and dear friend. When he became ill, he asked me to help out with his duties as State Director and I was honored that he felt confident in my ability to fill some pretty big shoes.

As his illness progressed, I called him almost every day and I shared with him some of my more interesting cases. He always wanted to know every detail and would share cases of the past that had similarities. I will miss his kind heart and curious spirit very much. I found this picture of Eddie doing what he loved most.... Talking UFOs with Stanton Friedman, author of many UFO books. 

All of us here in Tennessee have lost one of the true UFO hunters. He will be missed.
