A New Hampshire witness at Newton reported watching a teardrop-shaped bright light crossing the sky with a red-orange tint, according to testimony in Case 85667 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was up late completing her taxes on July 15, 2017.
“I knew it wasn't a helicopter or anything because it was too fast,” the witness stated. “It eventually left my sight and I went to bed.”
New Hampshire MUFON State Director Valerie Schultz closed this case as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle.
“For altitude, the witness felt the object was moving at high speed at 1,000-feet in a straight line, faster than a plane and closer to the ground,” Schultz stated in her report. “She felt the object was bigger than a plane. The witness found the object strange and hard to interpret. According to the witness, the object was fuzzy having a red-orange tint around it, making it hard to see its edges. The craft moved in the northeastern sky and towards the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant and Pease Air Force Base. I asked if she could make a drawing. She said yes and sent it to me on August 22, 2017.
