A California witness at Azusa reported watching two large lights descending toward ground level, according to testimony in Case 86824 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was driving home from a local store with a friend at 7:30 p.m. on September 20, 2017.
“I observed two large, bright lights descending slowly to the foothills in front of Azusa canyon,” the witness stated. “It had a rocking motion. At first, I thought it was a military helicopter only to realize these lights were far too large to be that of a helicopter. I felt compelled to drive toward it. So, I did. It was hard to navigate the road and keep my eye on the lights, so my friend started directing As we got closer it appeared to land on the hill, and then one light vanished. Suddenly our attention was turned to a row of lights that appeared above us and slightly to the left at tree top level. We could see the outline of the vessel, although transparent we could tell the shape, was dome-like, and the lights were near the bottom. I had driven into a residential area and found myself in a cul-de-sac and by the time I turned around it flew awa, and the remaining light that was on the hill vanished.”
California MUFON Earl Gray Anderson closed this case as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle.
