A Canadian witness at London, Ontario, reported watching a silent, triangle-shaped object just 50 feet off the ground, according to testimony in Case 92445 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The event occurred at 10:05 p.m. on June 2, 2018, at the University of Western Ontario Cronyn Observatory during an open night to the public.
“I was out on the balcony waiting for my turn to use the telescope,” the witness stated. “I was looking straight up to see if I could see any stars as it was getting much cloudier.”
The witness noticed the object fly right into her sight-line and she froze.
“I just felt really numb, stunned. It was definitely a ship of some sort, and so black it stood out from the night sky. It had lights on the bottom of it, along the edges, I think seven in total. One at the peak and three down each side. They were not obviously bright but casting a white glow, seemed to be dome-shaped almost, rather than flush against the surface.”
The witness immediately thought the object was a UFO.
“It was flying really low, right over our heads. Perhaps 50 feet up. It was moving rather slow, totally smooth, and was completely silent. It had a solid outline and distinct triangle shape, but the body was also moving. Its body reminded me of a Rubik’s cubic with the square parts rotating forward in some sort of perpetual kinetic motion. I was so shocked I couldn't speak. I did look around me and could not process no one else was seeing it. Everyone was talking, or on their phones, or looking through the telescopes at Jupiter. I wanted to say something but felt frozen. I looked back up and it just continued moving along until it disappeared into the distance. I felt like talking to someone, but I couldn't. It felt really surreal. I remember thinking, ‘Wait, come back,’ but it was gone.”
Canadian Field Investigator Dan Jones closed this case as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle. The witness included one illustration of the object with the report, which was filed on June 3, 2018.
