Kimmel said that looking into Area 51 and UFOs would be the first thing he would do as President. The President quickly quipped, "That is why you will not be President." Kimmel followed with how President Clinton looked into the subject and discovered there was nothing there. The President replied, "You know, that is what we are instructed to say."
The President appeared to be joking with Kimmel to keep the interview going, saying, "The aliens won't let it happen. You will reveal all of their secrets. They exercise strict control over us."
"Publicly," Harzan said, "the U.S. officially stopped investigating UFOs with the close of Project Blue Book in 1969 - but we know from various credible sources that they never actually stopped investigating or studying UFOs. They simply took the project underground - as one or more Unacknowledged Special Access Programs (USAPs) otherwise known as Black Projects."
Harzan believes some of what the President said is actually truthful.
"The President's final words are probably the most truthful - referring to whether or not he knows what Bill Clinton said - that he knows nothing - Obama said, 'That's what we're instructed to say.'"
Harzan does not believe UFO disclosure will be coming from the White House anytime soon.
"I doubt any sitting President will ever be able to share with the American people what he or she knows about this subject because it is a National Security issue of the highest order for the United States of America. If that doesn't convince people that UFOs are real, I don't know what will."
