STAR Team Field Investigator
Reprinted from the August 2013 MUFON UFO Journal
In June of 2005, I received a call from BLT Research Inc. coordinator Nancy Talbott asking me to assist her team with an investigation of the first crop circle of that year, which came into sight on a Horton Hill, North Carolina farm. It was a simple circular formation and a hand full of field researchers managed to collect some samples and take multiple photos until the farmer’s patience level was contravened. But from a MUFON Field Investigator’s perspective, I was also interested in the derivation of this phenomenon; specifically on the energy system that could manipulate crops and related vegetation.
In the May issue of the MUFON UFO Journal article, “Investigator Reveals Cape Fear River Case Details,” I wrote about a case I supported in 2008 involving sightings of multiple UFOs, orbs, alien humanoids and the abduction of Christopher Bledsoe Sr., all during an eight hour time period. My focal point in this article will be on Bledsoe’s backyard, particularly the trees and his lawn that might have been “altered” by a force unleashed during this CE4 incident.
Bledsoe described it as glowing and that it seemed to have a bright, glassy force field around its entire body. February 23, 2008, was the first day of my investigation and Bledsoe’s property was the second location I surveyed that day, centering at the southwest corner of his yard where the second alien encounter took place.
My investigation revealed that right behind where the entity manifested itself, there was a tree that had one of its main branches overhanging directly above where it stood.
Strangely, I noticed that this branch was covered with bright, orange lichen believed to be Elegant Sunburst type or Xanthoria Elegans which is a lichenized species of fungus.
This was the only tree branch that had this lichen on Bledsoe’s property.
The lichen’s bright orange pigmentation was considerably faded on my second visit on June 18, 2008, four months later.
Recent emails were exchanged in March 2013 with Chris stating that this tree died shortly after my visit and has fallen over, leaving behind a rotted stump.
Did this tree die from natural causes?
Another unusual event occurred to another of his backyard trees.
In October of 2012, an old Northern Catalba tree located near the center of his yard, burst into flames.
Chris wrote that this tree spontaneously combusted on three occasions that night, at approximately 9:30 p.m., 12 a.m., and again at 3 a.m., witnessed by family members.
His wife water hosed the flames that night during the last two outbreaks. One of Bledsoe’s sons took footage of this tree while burning via his iPad and submitted the video to YouTube: “The Burning Tree – Chris Bledsoe.”
Chris also noted, “The fire coming out of the tree was facing the landing site [circular grass impression] and was about say 12 feet from it.”
Within the crop circle domain, analysis reveals that the plants and soil from inside crop formations showed results that are consistent with high exposure of an intense energy typical to UHF microwave effect along with strong magnetic fields.
Now what about the energy signature from UFO landings, orb touchdowns to alien interactions?
Can these mysterious emissions alter vegetation growth and perhaps even drastically speed up their life span or is it simply instigated by the earth’s natural phenomena?
I would like to end this article with a March 2013 email statement from Chris Bledsoe Sr.:
“Thanks, Norm, and I want to say I do support MUFON totally and without MUFON, I don’t believe I would have found the support to get through the rough times.”
