Looking back at UFO cases filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) covered here this past May and early June – case dispositions reveal a wide range of closure including Insufficient Information and Identified Flying Objects. If MUFON closes a case as an Unknown – investigators have ruled out known, man-made objects and Mother Nature.

Football field sized UFO stops Alabama I-20 traffic

An Alabama witness eastbound along I-20 nearing the 205 exit reported stopping her vehicle to watch a silent, triangle-shaped UFO “as large as a football field” moving slowly at the tree top level that terrified her and appeared to cause missing time, according to May 29, 2014, testimony in Case 56669.

Florida witness wants details on 'rocket-like' object

A Charlotte County, FL, witness is wondering what the "rocket-like" object was that moved over his home about 9:55 p.m. on March 14, 2014, according to testimony in Case 54707 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside in a front yard walking a dog when the object was first noticed. The case was reported to MUFON on March 15, 2014.

"I noticed it because it looked like a rocket ship with a big flame going straight up," the witness stated. "It looked like it was miles away. It seemed like it was ascending faster than our rockets, but I didn't think anything more until the big fire ball went out."

West Virginians report ‘intelligent fireball’ UFO over small town

A West Virginia Dad in Sutton relates a UFO encounter his daughter and two friends had where a fireball-looking object appeared to move intelligently overhead, according to March 7, 2014, testimony in Case 54493 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The father tells the story from his daughter’s point of view about the event, which occurred about midnight on March 2, 2014. West Virginia MUFON Assistant State Director Dennis Henshaw is investigating.

The daughter and two friends were on their way to pick up a friend from work when a bright light was first noticed.

Was hovering disc UFO observing train crossing lights over Colorado?

The jury remains out on exactly what intelligence is operating UFOs in our skies, but one Colorado witness at Gunbarrel who was stopped at a train gate crossing reports the disc-shaped object hovered above him under 500 feet and then moved on once the train was gone, according to March 1, 2014, testimony in Case 54385.

Colorado Field Investigators Richard Evans and Deborah Evans investigated and closed this case as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle.

A Texas witness in rural Hunt County reported an "unexplainable object visible in the background" of a family photo taken near Quinlan that cannot be identified, according to testimony in Case 52992 closed March 26, 2014, as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The family photo was taken in April 1957. The case was submitted to MUFON December 27, 2013, and was investigated by Texas Field Investigator Thomas Diamond.

"Look over my right shoulder just above the propane tank and to the right of the telephone pole," the witness stated. "I've enlarged it on my computer and it looks like a cigar with flames coming out the back. I'd never noticed it until I enlarged the photo."
